USB 3.0 Hub for Lightning Fast USB Connections
The USB 2.0 standard offers a theoretical maximum signaling rate of 480 megabits per second, while USB 3.0 defines a maximum rate of 5 gigabits per second. In other words, USB3.0 provides better speed and more efficient power management than USB 2.0, theoretically more than 10 times faster than USB 2.0.
USB 3.0 devices are backwards compatible with USB 2.0 ports. However, data transfer speeds are limited to USB 2.0 levels when these devices inter-operate.
Note: 2.4 Ghz wireless devices (keyboards, mouse, etc.) may not work around USB 3.0 ports. Try using a USB 2.0 connection instead.
